Bicycle Retailer and Industry News
In this current, hard copy issue Steve has been "...singled out and honored" for his participation in an industry he and I both delighted in for many years. He worked hard, played hard and loved bicycle people and Interbike.
Thank you, Lynette, and Bicycle Retailer!

Celebration of Steve Ready’s Life
Saturday, September 14, 2013
6:00 - 9:00pm
Museum of Glass, Tacoma, WA
On Tuesday morning, July 16th Steve peacefully passed away at home. He’d had a joyful Monday evening with seven dear women friends. Being one of “us girls” was a great pleasure of his over the years.
A Blessing ceremony took place Saturday morning, July 20th at the Haven of Rest, Gig Harbor. The Deacon from Gig Harbor’s Catholic church offered the Blessing to Steve, his family and friends. A viewing took place for several hours that day. His mother Margherita, sister Paula, nephew JP, niece Torey and her fiancee Joey had flown up from Southern California. Our daughter Cory, granddaughter Carly, sister Terri and visiting friends attended as well. Steve was cremated on Monday, July 22nd.
You have known Steve and will remember him. Your acknowledgements and wonderful stories are filling the hole that was left in my heart. I thank you.
I would like you to know about this Celebration of Steve Ready’s Life and offer you this invitation to attend. campw.blogspot.com is another way to celebrate Steve’s life.
So let us celebrate this courageous, much-admired, delightful man and wish him all the
very best. Rest in Peace, Steve.
